Tenderloin Pay-What-You-Can community tickets:

Since Cutting Ball's production of Tenderloin in 2012, we have been offering Pay-What-You-Can Tickets to our neighbor workers, volunteers and residents as a way to build community, strengthen our presence and make our art radically accessible to all neighbors, regardless of their income level. These tickets are available for every performance, and may be obtained at the door before each show. We have a "nobody turned away for lack of funds" policy. Partnerships with local organizations such as Glide Memorial Church, the Cadillac Hotel, Swords to Ploughshares, Learning in Retirement, the Central City SRO Collaborative, TNDC, Saint Anthony's etc. have helped us promote the program within the community.

To take advantage of our pay what you can program, please come to the box office half an hour before any performance to check availability.

Tenderloin Walking Tours:

Del Seymour has lived and worked in the Tenderloin for over 30 years, and has seen the neighborhood from both sides: as an addict living on the street to a volunteer and board member of many local service organizations.  He offers low-cost tours taking visitors deeper, showing off the neighborhood's historically significant landmarks and institutions. "You will enjoy the Alcatraz Tour. You will like the Fisherman’s Wharf Tour, but you will REMEMBER the Tenderloin Walking Tour."

Touring Tenderloin:

Many people ask us if we will bring back one day our hit production of Tenderloin [link: http://cuttingball.com/productions/tenderloin/] which ran at our theater in the Tenderloin for a total of 8 weeks in between April and June 2012. This is something we are definitely considering and for which we are seeking out potential sponsors and sources of funding for. In the meantime, we are excited to offer patrons opportunities to experience the work through readings and performance excerpts of the play, in co-production with local partners.
