Assistant Stage Manager
Duties include attending production meetings, attending rehearsals, taking line/blocking notes, assisting stage manager with scheduling and communication tasks, assisting costume designer with maintenance/laundry/dry cleaning, prop tracking and actor traffic control during the run of the show, participating in strike.
These are show-by-show independent contractor positions. We are looking for ASMs for our 2012-2013 season (beginning in August). Please email laura@cuttingball.com with your resume and cover letter.

Volunteer Ushers
Cutting Ball is looking for volunteer ushers for all performances. Volunteers arrive at the theater approximately one hour prior to performances and receive a complementary seat in the theater subject to availability. Please email info@cuttingball.com if you are interested in serving as a volunteer usher.
Internships
The Cutting Ball Theater appreciates driven, enthusiastic interns to work closely with our staff and artists.
We accept interns and volunteers for the following positions:
Summer Internship Opportunities:
Development Intern:
Duties include: Grant Writing, Donor tracking and communication, Event planning, season planning for development
This internship will run from June – August 2012 and involve a time commitment of 20+ hours/week. There is no pay available for this position.
Yearly Internships:
- Arts Administration
- Marketing / Social Media
- Development
- Directing
- Literary / Dramaturgy
- Stage Management
- Design (Sets, Costumes, Sound & Lights)
These positions vary in time commitment but average 5-10 hours a week and can be flexible regarding a work or class schedule. These are no-pay positions.
