House Manager for The Chairs and 12/13 Season- Last Minute Call!
The Cutting Ball Theater is seeking House Manager to take on either SOME or ALL of the shifts for our upcoming production of The Chairs, a play by Eugene Ionesco, Directed by Annie Elias. The run starts March 1st and closes on March 31st.
Performance Schedule: Thu. at 7:30pm, Fri. at 8pm, Sat. at 2pm and 8pm and Sun. at 5pm.
The performances take place at our theater downtown on 277 Taylor street, SF.
House Manager is required to arrive 90min before curtain and must stay until the beginning of the performance. Duties include ensuring the lobby, bathrooms, entryway and house are clean and presentable, greeting patrons and helping them find there seats. HM must be available for a minimum of 5 shifts.
A $25 stipend is paid at the end of each shift.

Assistant Stage Managers
Duties include attending production meetings, attending rehearsals, taking line/blocking notes, assisting stage manager with scheduling and communication tasks, assisting costume designer with maintenance/laundry/dry cleaning, prop tracking and actor traffic control during the run of the show, participating in strike.
These are show-by-show independent contractor positions. We are looking for ASMs for “The Chairs” which begins rehearsals in January, and “Krispy Kritters in The Scarlett Night,” which begins rehearsals in March. Please email info@cuttingball.com with your resume and cover letter.
