Cutting Ball Theater faces possible closure due to dwindling funding landscape for theater in the wake of the pandemic, despite efforts to apply for more grants than ever and seeing inspiring ticket sales. As one of the last arts organizations in the Tenderloin, we emphasize the importance of preserving radical, experimental art and are seeking community support to raise $45,000 by March and $200,000 by June to sustain operations and continue producing experimental works.
