Cutting Ball Theater is putting out a call to artists in request for art submissions to fill our lobby as gallery space. The intent is to showcase local artists’ work, grow their audiences, and potentially get their art sold. We want to hold space for artists who may not always get the gallery showcase they deserve and amplify for our audiences to engage with and enjoy. 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Local artists in the San Francisco area. Priority will be given to those from the Tenderloin District
• Artists that aren’t already affiliated with other companies but more so trying to build their own awareness/audiences
• Artists trying to showcase and sell their work in a gallery space in their local area

 

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ART

• There is no set theme or prompt
• Any physical medium
• Sizes between 24in and 60in
• Created on a flat surface that is able to hang on a wall
• Artwork must be ready to show by Sep 23, 2022
