An evening of non-scripted, non-traditional theatre pieces ranging from original music to dance to drag to puppetry, all devising an original piece on a communal theme over the course of one week!

THE STORM presented by The Puppet Circle
Step into a fantastical San Francisco, where our puppet hero faces a city that comes alive unexpectedly. Confronted with the choice to hide, escape, or confront the animated threat, a mystical encounter with a sea creature sparks a transformative journey. Now equipped with newfound powers, our puppet must navigate how to wield them in this enchanting tale of choice and power.

 Daniel Gill - Puppeteer
Daniel Gill is an educational puppeteer, early childhood educator, and teaching artist living in San Francisco. Daniel is a teaching artist for Marsh Youth Theater, San Francisco Children’s Art Center, and in Autism-focus classrooms for StageWrite’s ADAPTS program. He has an extensive early childhood background as a preschool teacher and Expressive Arts specialist and holds a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education from San Francisco State University. He has performed original puppet shows at the Skirball Cultural Center, and puppeteered for Possibly Puppets and the Bob Baker Marionette Theater. @thepuppetcircle

Risa Lenore - Puppeteer
Risa Lenore is known for her creativity in arts education and in her puppet creations. She is the creator, writer, director, designer and builder for more than 8 family-friendly puppet shows which have toured the bay area since 2013. She recently received support from the Jim Henson Foundation for her company Possibly Puppets show premiering this October. possiblypuppets.com and @possibly.puppets

NOT THERAPY Improve show by Radhika Rao
In this one-woman improvised show, Dr Rao, does a deep dive into your problems, using the audience (also you) as a community to brainstorm through our daily struggles (cause we’re all in this together!). She brings together her experience in communications coaching, teaching artistry, peace building, improvisation, physical comedy, shakespeare, and mindfulness/yoga- to say something and do something to support you- laughter guaranteed.

Radhika Rao - Improv 
Radhika Rao (she/they) is an improviser and theater teaching and performing artist. She will be seen next as Titania in Midsummer Nights Dream in March/April at Shotgun Players on the Ashby Stage (Berkeley). She’s determined to be a force for peace in this world- through the power of voice, communication, storytelling and being an empowerment coach. MONOLOGUE  by Enkidu Khan

Enkidu Khan 
Enkidu Khan (they/them) is a multi-disciplined theatre artist that has worked in a variety of positions, including, but not limited to, as a playwright, a lighting and projection designer, a director, a stage manager and an artistic director. They studied theatre and performance with an emphasis in new works and devised theatre at Oklahoma City University. Some of their favorite credits include stage managing The Poes, a devised live cinema experience, and writing and directing Learning to Forget.

MY BLOODY RIGHT THUMB by Kunal Prasad
With severed right thumb in hand Eklavya faces the pain and loss of his present moment by embracing the sensual.

Kunal Prasad 
Kunal Prasad is a Theatre Artist and was a Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation Fellow on ‘Wizard of Oz’ at American Conservatory Theater. Kunal has an interest in the intersection of poetry, gesture and social dance and in delving into the heart of a story with joy, curiosity, and openness. They are currently directing a devised workshop of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ with ACT’s Young Conservatory. He has led and directed workshops and residencies at The Magic Theatre, Bay View Opera House, and San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. As an Actor, Kunal is featured in the indie film ‘Gone in the Night,’ starring Winona Ryder. Other credits include: ‘Wives,’ (Aurora Theatre Company) ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns,’ (A.C.T.) ‘Taylor Mac: A 24-Decade History of Popular Music,’ (SF Curran) and ‘Hedda Gabler,’ (The Cutting Ball Theater.)

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA v. DANIEL EVERETT HALE

A shocking piece of verbatim theatre that uses criminal indictments and court filings to unveil the hidden atrocities of drone warfare and the cost of bringing the truth to light.

Content Warning: Possible PTSD for Veterans, graphic descriptions of violence and warfare.

The Forum Collective 
The Forum Collective produces work exploring political moments that represent universal human experiences. While analyzing work through this lens, we create projects blending live performance, gallery curation, and journalistic reporting. The end result is a multi-layered exploration of sociopolitics.
